So this is Hudson's first season playing soccer. He is soooooo excited to do "boy stuff"!

Hannah's teacher this year is Mrs. Cain. She spent the first 15 years as an attorney and then decided she wanted to work with kids in a different way. She then went back for her bachelor's and master's in education. I told Hannah not to bother arguing with her; it's a sure lose.

Hannah's art teacher pictured here is also great. He's so good with the kids and has many interesting things planned.

First day of 4th grade

Is running behind considered exercise? Well, I should be in great shape right? Update: Hannah started 4th grade this August. Perks include her good friend Mia in the same class and a 5 minute drive :) . Mia has lived next door since we moved in 5 years ago. There is potential for the two to take over the class if they align themselves correctly. Good or bad depending on whether your the teacher or student. All about perspective.

Is anything really fun without a little mess? Hudson and Cade (his buddy from next door) had a great time finger and toe painting murals both on paper and the driveway. Straight to the bathtub after this one!

So is time out REALLY considered effective if they sleep through it? Sorry Hudson, I'll try not to bore you next time.......... BTW Hudson just informed me that he's breaking up with a girl at his school because Sophia is his new girlfriend. When asked what breaking up means he replied with "I don't know but I just have to"...........

Though I'm not decided on the perks of arranged marriage, Hudson has just informed me that he has a girlfriend and that he loves her. Oficially I have to say that Sophia is the cutest non-related little girl I have ever met. Nettie and I have decided that the topic of arranging their marriage needs to be revisited in a few years. It was so nice to see Nettie; very nice to see the kids to play together. We decided to make some brownie's to celebrate Aunt Beth's new job.....and her last weekend at work. We worked very hard making them, the best part was the cleanup. Enjoy....

A crime has been committed. The offender as pictured below. Not a laughing matter if you saw her record over the last year. The defendant has a history of mental illness to include severe separation anxiety that requires pychiatric drugs. Being that this is the third major offence in the last year...I will throw the book at her next time. As you can see fourth of July was more than just outdoor fireworks, there were also a few indoors after I saw what Shadow did. Really if the dog wants to be loved she makes it really hard. Apparently there was some delimma while I was at work on whether it would be better to leave her in or out with the noisey fireworks. Jb and the kids went to the neighbours for fireworks. Even with sedation; she just doesn't appreciate fireworks. Guess we know for next time right? I just have to state that my educated guess would have been out doors. I guess we can turn this into a positive because Home Depot is going to appreciate all the business they will recieve because of this lovely dog

the other day mum and hud came to pick me up from ballet and we went to beauty brands.Mum told me to watch hud wall she looked .And i walked away for one minute when i came back hud had makeup all over him on his face,his clothes- it was everywhere . and i mean everywhere. and i just got into my ballet company.i am so excited now i get bigger parts. i am only months away from getting my pointshoes. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek yay yay yay yay yay yay yay

Totally a slacker, this I know. It's just very hard to know where to begin. So I will start with now and work my way back when I have free time. But since I have Hudson, by conservative calculations that might be... when he moves out of the house:). I will try though.

Hmmm… what to do when your sister gives you her blog sign in and password in hopes you will create her a snazzy heading as posted above??? (Yes, I am taking credit, because I deserve it!) Should you be honest and erase the sign in and password from your mind, or keep it up on the refrigerator as a reminder that at any point you can heist her blog and post all sorts of embarrassing stories about when the two of you were college roomies, and oh, yes, what about that one time, when we got lost in Venice, and we were supposed to be in Rome??? PS The Venice incident was ALL Heather’s fault, as we all know I cannot be trusted with a google map, let alone an unlimited Euro-rail pass and sorry excuse for ENGLISH directions! In all honesty, though, Heather, It was a blast letting you sleep on my lap in the train station while I tried to stay awake and watch for those trying to steal our luggage, because, YES, this had already happened, and we couldn't find a hotel room at 3AM, when we ended up in Venice, when we should have been in Rome! Ahh… memories! I could also tell stories how Heather is blinder than a bat, and for laughs in college, I would take her glasses while she was in the shower, and hide her towel, just to hear her screaming at me from down the hall in our communal showers…. Or how we would take any chance to scare the living daylights out of each other… even if it meant skipping an 8am class just to hide in the closet while your sis was showering, only for her to come back to her room and have you scare her by jumping out of her closet. “Yes, sorry, Dr. Chapman (head of chemistry at Rockhurst University), I could not make it to class today, I was busy scaring my sister… I hope you understand!” Nope, I won’t even go there, because we would look immature, and oddly enough, we both work with Dr. Chapman’s wife, Belinda (also a NICU nurse), so who would admit to such nonsense??? Instead of telling these rediculous, almost unbelievable stories, I will post pictures of her lovely children, that should she choose to move to New Zealand, I will fight for full custody for… surely there is grounds for this if the judge would realize how much I love these kiddos!? Right??? If you have not figured out at this point, I am Heather’s younger, but taller, sis, Elizabeth, and I will continue to heist the blog unless she puts my blogging 101 info to use and posts something… or if she changes her password! In the meantime here are her beautiful children…. And if she continues to NOT post anything, there are always photos of her kiddos on my blog, and I usually know her whereabouts… that is what happens when you are co-dependant! Enjoy! OMgoodness, I LOVE this photo of sweet little Hud, holding his Uncle Chris's hand... and yes he is just as sweet as this photo, but also a bit ornery! And these chubby cheeks are so cute you could just bite them... just ask my daughter, Emilia, because she used her chompers to do this only months ago... I'm telling you they are irresistable!

Ahh, sweet Hannah, my 1st daughter, in so many ways! Isn't she BEAUTIFUL? I love this little GIRL!

I LOVE this photo of my hubs, Chris, with the kiddos last summer in Colorado. I always wanted 4 kids, so if I get custody of Heather's kids I have to add just one more! :) hehe! We all know I am joking... almost! :)

beginnings

Well, here it is the first blog of many. Let me start off by saying that Hannah and I are on the same level when it comes to this making a blog idea. Very sad but I was unaware that it was so complicated. My husband laughs at my sophisticated skills in graphic design(cough, cough). The thought did cross my mind to totally turn this over to Hannah but that would be to announce defeat. At the very least this will provide some laughs and hopefully not broken electronics:).
